Slap Battles Update History 2026: Every Content Drop by Date
How this timeline is built
Slap Battles does not publish a tidy patch-notes archive, so most “update history” pages are somebody’s memory of Discord announcements.
This one is not. Every badge in the game carries a creation date in the Roblox API, and in Slap Battles a new badge is how content ships — a new area, a new boss or a new glove arrives with its badge. Sorting badge creation dates gives you a dated, verifiable record of what landed and when.
The game’s own updated field currently reads 31 August 2026, so the game is actively maintained as of this writing.

What the holder counts tell you
Reading down that table, the numbers do something patch notes never do — they show which content players actually finished.
- Banish the Night (38,697) is the outlier. It landed the same day as Unmasked (117,412) and covers the same content, but only a third as many players got through it. That is the Pim boss fight filtering people out.
- Fatal Frame (335,109) from June is the most-completed content of the year, which fits — the Camera glove route is exploration, not combat.
- Estival Heatwaver (61,179) is only ten days old at the time of writing, so its count is still climbing fast and is not a difficulty signal yet.
Update cadence
Across the game’s full history the pace has been remarkably even: 23 badges in 2021, 32 in 2022, 31 in 2023, 31 in 2024, 29 in 2025 and 19 through August 2026. That is roughly one content drop every two weeks, sustained for five years.
For a Roblox game with 3.6 billion visits, that consistency is the real story — plenty of games that big have long since stopped shipping.
Where this comes from
Badge creation dates, descriptions and holder counts are pulled from the public Roblox badge API for universe 2380077519 on 31 August 2026. The game update timestamp comes from the games API for the same universe. The full 165-badge list is on the badge rarity index.
